I really love this series!

The story starts with a elf named Arya but then it switches over to the astual start of the story with Eragon hunting on the woods. There's a flash of light and a stone appears near Eragon. So Eragon picks it up and eventually goes back to his Uncles farm. He doesn't show his Uncle or his cousin, Roran, the stone until later. Any way, Eragon goes to a market with his Uncle and Roran and his Uncle helps Eragon try to sell the stone. (Eragon already showed him by this point) The merchant said that the stone was hallow and that he wouldn't buy it. So Eragon ends up keaping the stone and puts it in his bedroom. He is woken up in the middle of the night by a sound coming from the stone. Soon Eragon realizes that it's not a stone, it's an egg! His suspicions are confermed when a baby dragon starts running aroun his room! He doesn't know how this can posibly be a dragon because the legendary dragon riders are long gone. He reaches out to touch the dragon but when he does, she bites him, leaving a strange pattern. Later in the book Eragon learns from a story teller named Brom that he is now a dragon rider!

To read about Eragon and Saphira's (Eragon's dragon)adventures buy the Inheritance trilogy!

I have written this from memory so please pardon me if I have written any wrong facts. I have also scipped a few parts.
